Comp pkgs

Has anyone heard from HR on the comp pkgs when Indiana stores close. No word to the folks involved yet?? Are they just waiting to screw everyone?

Same here, no answers from HR. RM refers all those questions to HR. Dead end dealing with HR. Useless department, all questions now going to the board until they get annoyed enough to take action.

Well, store is closed now and after several unanswered contacts to HR, still not the courtesy of an answer on comp pkg.. Let that be a warning to those ( especially the Young folks)still employed. As for me, better things on the horizon, not letting this get me down. After 10 years I can still say I have worked with great co-workers, and wish them the best. Have been hired by a terrific company with better wages and most importantly better benefits. Best to all!!

1 week for every year you work was the old way. They figured out a way of giving you much much less. I’m telling you I received 2 weeks after 20 years of fabulous service hence the reason I located another store to transfer to. I too needed a job to continue paying the bills. I pray they go back to the old way for you but I just don’t see it there’s too many stores they closed down now And have given that severance two weeks no matter what. HR is ruthless.

They are saying 1 week per every year of service full time,BUT if you take an offer from the new store taking over, you get nothing! Doesn't sound quite right to me. If the store closes, I'm out of a job. If I can obtain work elsewhere that is my business. They should be happy I'm not collected unemployment benefits. Sounds to me like they are biting a legal issue, Illinois is corrupt but stands behind employment issues.

If nothing is being said... I bet it is horrible and they are just trying to keep the managers working as long as possible.
