Good luck to all on the food handlers certification. The manager one you have to take is no picnic. I know I failed my first attempt when I became management.
Yes there is a pay raise with it
I know I am one of them
you’ll become the new assistant manager without the pay. You’ll be expected to deal with members and all the bull sh--. They will eliminate 3 managers per club? Once the new key holders are food safety certified, yet again another blow to higher wages.
Next year more mgrs will be cut and you will be doing there job at a fraction of the pay of what they were paying the mgrs.
Floor team leads have always carried keys at my club. The details are straightforward common since. if you are on day shift, you will need the keys to load merchandise out the back of the store for members, check in trucks, and to open up all others locks on front side of store as needed. On the night end of the spectrum, you need the keys to allow associates to go to break, open up the dock for receiving, and to assist all service orders being performed by third party companies. If you loss the keys, you are an incompetent id--t, and do not let the people performing the service orders BS you, and copy their paperwork.
The details are they handed us a key.
They're making such big deal of this. Teamleads at our club have always had keys to open all doors in club. Supervisor keys had master. And all have had to cover overnight lead with no manager in club. You're not being asked to do anything new. Except maybe know alarm code. Big whoop. You dont need more money for job you're already doing.
You're preparing the club for elimination of managers
Pay compensation discussed but I think it’s just lip service.
