Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Suddenly HBO pricing is an expensive issue

Good informative read. The overall article take is that the HBO app is competitively overpriced, and lowering it could potentially cause peer animosity and financial loss. More and more, it seems like AT&T is in over their head and doomed, something that solely lies on the failures of upper management.

@ZnD2HIJ-1iis they are too arrogant to realize their incompetence. remember never admit you never make a mistake and buy the next new toy you think your company needs.

Arrogance and incompetence are bad traits to have in a manger. Unfortunately, that's all management at this place has to offer.

Stankey's never gonna figure it out, either. He bled the cash cow to overpay for yet another dying asset, then jumped to "lead" it himself, because it looked SO shiny at the time.

Stankey doesn't need to figure it out, tho. Not like he's gonna personally have to hit the breadlines any time soon.

They don’t have a hit series anymore to justify a high price. Their hedging their plans on future GOT prequels to bring back subscribers but with the way GOT ended who cares about prequels?

This seems to always be T's problem. They think they are the top dog of everything and always overproce everything while arriving late.

Stankey isn't qualified to run any of TimeWarner including HBO. The guy hosed up DTV with his penny pinching strategies . Him and Donovan along with the CFOs Stephens and Fete as well.
