In fact, judging by the way things are going work conditions and respect for the workers can only deteriorate. So, If people are really unhappy to the degree as they present on this board , I can only suggest that they start looking for jobs at other companies. Money and the bottom line only matter at this point.

Are you kidding me. I work 22 hours in a 24 hour period on inventory day. So do all the leads managers and some key associates.
@2eal, the inventory companies do come in on Sunday nights to do inventory, requiring people to work past 6pm on that Sunday. The dollar difference done on the following Monday. So I don’t think the poster was trolling about that. However, most people aren’t scheduled to work 15 hours so I don’t know why it would ruin having a ‘father’s day’ with the family.
@1ziw they do not have inventory on Sundays. Father's day is on Sundays. They are trolling.
The sad part is if they continue this way evenutally they will run the Clubs into the ground and shutter all stores. Leaving all he hard working associates in a bad spot while the ones coming up with the horrid ideas float away on their golden parachutes.
OP you are so spot on! Just got done reading an outraged associate who is mad that Inventory is scheduled at their club on Father’s Day. The poster, as well as 6 other associates, are going to go in on June 16th and quit because of the inventory date. I’d chalk it up to someone trolling the site, but in the context of so many other comments on this site, I sadly acknowledge that they probably do work for the company 😳
To 1zai. Very well said . It's a sad world in todays society. Some will find any excuse to not do what they have to.
I’m always skeptical of peoples’ motivations. When associates made time and a half on Sundays almost nobody complained about working on Sunday. Church wasn’t more important than making the extra dough. Now people simply can’t miss church.
Fast forward a few more years into the tech era and kids are always stuck on their phones and tablets. Yet, now associates can’t close cause they’ll miss spending “time” with their kids. The majority of parents don’t even make sure their kids do their homework.
People should just be honest, you don’t want to close because you just don’t like it and there is nothing wrong with that. Plus having kids should not give you preferred treatment over someone who doesn’t.
