You can always think about what the most awesome cloud that you could build, but that isn't where Oracle fails. Oracle fails in execution and under investment. They will never catch up until they put their money where their mouth is and invest for the long term. Larry should line up hedge funds and private equity and take the company private so they can avoid short term thinking and what they will report for the current quarter. It's a vicious cycle that never ends.
