From my understanding .. Gen2 is a new strategy but not equivalent to OCI.
Can anyone explain what is Gen2 ?
I thought it is something related to on-premise business.

Marketing nonsense to prevent share price from cratering, no substance behind it. No customers dumb enough to use it. Totally useless garbage.
OCI is Gen 2.
Oracle Public Cloud was generation 1, generation 2 was called Baremetal Cloud aka BMC.
Around 2 years ago they got rebranded. BMC as OCI and OPC as OCI-Classic.
