A word to the wise. In Facebook you have the option to let only family and friends view your page or to allow the public to see your page and postings. This means everyone. I had a manager in the past tell me, he would go home at night to do his homework of trying to search for and check out employee Facebook pages.
Remember, what you say could get your fired. many will say "of course you id--t, everyone knows that", well many do not, that is why they are trolling the posts.
Even with the increased match, the 401k is the worst of any company I've worked for. People think the pension makes up for it, but unless you work here 30 years, it does not.
So it would seem that this manager has a major insecurity problem if he goes home at night and trolls Facebook. he has nothing else better to do? He gets the pleasure of harassing his employees during the day and yet feels the need to keep harassing them at night too....this manager is one sick puppy. Then again most managers are a tad off.
But who knows I could be one of his direct reports because it sounds exactly like something my manager would do.
See I don't feel sorry for anyone that posts stuff on Facebook thinking it's "private" ain't nothing private once it's on the Internet and for sure nothing you post on Facebook is actually ever private. False sense of security, don't fall for it.
OMG Facebook has been accused of sharing private instant messages with companies, so don't go thinking that Facebook is going to keep your posts private cause it isn't. SF is a big enough company that if they asked FB would hand over all sorts of stuff to them. Who knows they may have already hand just haven't been caught. So facebook posters beware...
Yeah pension is going to get frozen probably makes sense a little out of date based on turnover.

I had a manager tell me they are increasing company match of 401k to 2400 a year starting 2020. Love this company.
BFD, it is in the code of conduct anyway. Seems rather obvious, but if I had a manager creeping on me like that, I’d like to know.
