As much as I disagree with the company, the surveys are anonymous. The employee ID is used to track the hierarchy so the questions about leaders and site are tracked appropriately. A separate company handles the results and only reveals identities of something unethical, illegal or immoral is mentioned so the company can follow up. Even then, it’s revealed to HR and not to the site. Again, I disagree with the company on most things, but have never had a single concern about my responses being identified. Unless you write a comment that’s clearly unique to your situation, but even at that, only the comment would be known not your responses to the other questions. I believe that if too few people, less than 5, take the survey on your team the results are aggregated or somehow blended so the leader can’t figure it out.
