Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

3 years in Oracle - no catch up with my manager over 5 months!

Yes I'm searching for a job, it's not that easy.

I just wanted to shout somewhere so someone maybe will listen or will share their experience

My managers ignoring my team, we never have a catch up! absolutely ridiculous, I've never worked with such an amateur people.

my team has been cut by 50% at least. I'm sure that the next layoff is not far.

At these times, instead of managers will try harder to keep their team, those people just won't communicate at all and sometimes don't even answer to emails.

What is going on with this place?

I heard Oracle is a great place to work, but it's a nightmare!

No wonder we loosing customers and we are so far behind with Cloud services.

Maybe your manager is interviewing and on the way out. Maybe it's time for you to do the same thing.

Oracle is a total mess. Layers and layers of really sh--ty managers/directors/vps with no direction from above. It is just time to leave.

Not flushing after taking a huge dump is the number one problem at O.

Most of managers in Oracle china. They doesn't have to really work. They are actually very very free. they are always doing meaningless things which can't really help oracle. They are good at making different problems and keeping themselves safe... Because only having problems, LE will needs them. only problems can't be resolve, LE will always needs them. By playing tricks they escape and keep themselves safe and leave the problems there bigger and bigger.

MickeyD's gives you as many ketchups as you want. Maybe you can work there if you like ketchups.

Typical for 99.99% of M2+ leaders. They are in roles by luck and have no skill set or ability; see this way too often at O

If your manager is ignoring you, how are you working then? What kind of tasks are you getting? if there is no communication then your team is going to be let go off.
