I hate working here. I think I would rather claim dog p--p for a living.
what other company would pay you this well for this quality of work
I use to but with so many supervisors and managers looking stressed out, it doesn’t make good for a fun work environment.
Did... until the previous regime came in and started throwing money at digital media startups and niche market opportunities (think Intel Media Group, Go90, Hughes Telematics, XO). Those sins forced the hands of the current executives to cut spending dramatically and offer the VSP, which led the loss of a great many well tenured employees and their knowledge/experience. Boo hoo it all you want but the smart people have walked out the door. You are left with hangers on, foreign nationals, and tofu eating/skinny jeans wearing millenials to guide the ship. Enjoy.

Yes. It's been good. Some rough years and some good years. 33 years in total. Ma Bell made me a millionaire! Can't complain.

Not anymore you have to be a woman to get promoted “wow” or have your Verizon Instagram. They are putting the wrong people in power and out sourcing everything.
People stay for the salary, bonus and benefits......which are better than most other companies out there, but it is a a great cost to your health and sanity.
Why would I, or anyone else for that matter, stay if I didn't like working here?
