Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

O market cap going nowhere

Forget about the share price, it’s a function of share buybacks; look at the total Market Capitalization - which tells the true story and which is going nowhere.

O Market cap was $171 Bn June 2014; now it’s $206 Bn, up 20% over 5 yrs - lame compared to the rocket ships of other tech companies.

Go online and compare to Amazon, SFDC, MSFT, Google, etc.

has the brains to step away and hire a single, upstanding CEO.

Well, his first pick, SB, wasn't that great and almost k--led the company. But yeah, MSFT is in a much better position today than ORCL. And actually respected in the developer community.

MSFT market cap now at a TRILLION now, that’s value added by a CEO - and look only a single one, Not a 3 stooges headed monster. BG is so much smarter than LE - has the brains to step away and hire a single, upstanding CEO.

Oracle market cap stagnant so what exactly are the 3 stooges collecting $100 million a year each for? Just sitting around and pretending to work? That’s sure what it looks like

Simple fact remains, the minimal increase of oracle’s market capitalization is dwarfed by the huge increases in the market cap of most other tech companies, incl., MSFY, Amazon, SFDC, Apple,

Google, etc. Oracle is a loser in this game. Keep buying back stock to prop up the share price because it’s more visible than market cap, but the truth is that oracle has created no value the last 5 years and the market clearly recognizes that. What are the 2 CEOs getting a $100 million each for? For using oracle cash flow to buy back shares, that’s what they’re getting paid for.

The Oracle HR trolls are not going to be happy about this post, you just watch their reaction here.

There sure are one or two ringers here touting ORCL and voting down factual business posts while upvoting their own rants.

Oracle is a loser compared to every tech company with exception of IBM and T–ds former charge HP, how’s that for some perspective for all the oracle apologists?
