Time to put some of the UAW out the door. I will do my share. Go on strike. There are other vehicles or technologies to purchase. Your days are numbered, like the song Another Brick in The Wall. The Jeep blip will be like a fart in the breeze. Keep discounting the 24 mothers till mommy and daddy stop leading them for the gifted brats.

The union should strike, we have lost a million jobs, I am a salaried employee EGM and support the guys on the factory floor. They build the product and they deserve to be paid a decent living, 14 dollars an hour dosent allow them the opportunity to afford what they build and that is absurd. Our CEO likes to point the finger at the UAW well what about her accountability? She has fired allot of good people for no reason at all in profitable times, destroyed morale and stunted creativity in the very people that do the work! GM simply can not afford to operate this way for much longer and I am surprised the company hasn't been bought out or gone under. Morale is so low it's sickening, no one wants anything to do with GM any more because of all of the issues that are on going day in day out.

Then they should do any layoffs and factory closing before September.

If they do, that might delay layoffs if they need to send salaried workers to the plants to work during a strike.

Of course, after they make a deal, they won't need those salaried workers anymore.
