Except audiology centers were also a part of the new health hubs! Kinda makes Cvs look foolish closing hearing centers in BRAND NEW stores! I can’t believe they didn’t know about this coming...

The FDA didn't change the rules making it harder for CVS to have audiology centers. They actually did kind of the opposite. The FDA is making it where hearing aids can be sold over the counter without a pr-scrip-ion. CVS is closing the audiology centers because they don't need to pay for an audiologist to sell hearing aids anymore (once the new regulations are in place). The FDA is not hurting CVS. They made it where CVS can save money by not needing audiologists.
