Unofficial official layoff report 5/12/2019

Well, looks like the cat is out of the bag: oracle laying off 1,600 people at R&D center in China and it made the news in mainstream media.

That brings the total since 6/1-2016 to 23,686, with more to come before Q4 comes to an end.

But in many it's not celebrated on the second Sunday in May. For instance, in Mexico it's always celebrated on May 10,

Mother's Day around the world. In most countries Mother's Day is celebrated on the second Sunday in May, among them the USA, Canada, most European countries, Australia, New Zealand, India, China, Japan, the Philippines and South Africa.
