Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Honeywell still laying off, despite they make billions and pay no taxes, in fact, get millions back

So Honeywell is part of the Fortune 500 club who not only make billions but get millions back on taxes.

https://itep.org/notadime/

Got a $21M tax credit while making $2.83B.

That probably doesn't even include how much tax breaks and subsidies they get from states and cities for their facilities, from taxpayers.

Yet all they do is continue to lay off workers, close facilities, and pocket the spoils.

They invest in facilities in offshore locations and bring foreigners in to take the jobs away from Americans.

A sick corporate culture and national theft, for sure.

I remember around 20 years ago when I heard the first person tell me they believed that corporations should pay no taxes because they provide jobs. What Honeywell employee believes in that, anymore?

It tells me, the PIP quotas and all of that negativity is totally unnecessary. Corporate Sadism.

Corporate Self-Mutilation. A "cutter". Wrist-slasher. For the sake of the thrill.

Corporate Sadism - could not have said it better.

30% budget cut, demand 1.15 EEI w/ 100% yield, plus the expectation is to give back 7% of your budget year over year due to efficiencies. Makes no sense other than pure greed and sadism.

OP: Dang I forgot to add ironically the person I heard that from about corporations shouldn't pay any taxes from around 20 years ago was a former Allied-Signal employee whom I used to work with at another company, who got layed off from A-S in an early dead-wood layoff, because he was lame & useless.
