Given the current situation, I doubt that a day goes by without layoffs? Were there layoffs today at any part of the company. Can’t seem to see people on this board reporting actual layoffs today. If someone knows something, please post.

On Sundays generally the HR Team visits your home directly with bouquet of flowers, pizzas, fried-chicken , a few belly-dancers to handover your lay-off later. While they are doing that the musicians accompanying them play in the background, "My heart will go on....".
Yes, layoffs are being conducted on Saturday and sundays. They just drive over to your home to give you news and box of fuc***g cookies.
