Just before the last mass layoffs, HR were in close door meetings for 2 days. Then the managers were behind closed door meetings....
They will let everyone relax- at least a little bit before it starts. I suspect we will be hearing more next week.
They didn’t cut the severance package to not cut headcount. Maybe not today, but it will happen.
