These DLs are so out of touch on what goes on in the stores, they think the job is easy and can be done flawlessly. Denial is the first sign that a catastrophe is looming.

DLs are monday thru Friday messengers... really dont contribute much more than our email/hub system. Cant answer questions. Advise given needs to be taken with a grain of salt as it is usually wrong.
the only thing my DL knows about, or, at least pretends to know, is BOH, and Quick pick, which the recent RVP visit nullified, and said to the DL, "hey there is nothing wrong with our process, so leave them along." By the way, the RVP isn't a Pharmacist, and the DL is. Does that explain anything?
..the DL wouldn't know how to merchandise a store even if he had gone to merchandising school!
Don’t Forget To Dust!!!!!
Ummm 1-2 people per shift in Alabama
I think you mean 1-3 people working nowadays. Lol
First off any good DL worth his salt, should know what it takes to get things done at the store level. HOWEVER, most DL's at cvs ARE out of touch, and have no clue! So no it's NOT the store managers fault. DL expectations are WAAAAY out of touch with reality. Especially when you only have 2-3 people working.
Just more of the blame game.. 2006 expectations with 2019 payroll.
You just hit the nail right on the head! What you said is 100% true!! Perfect example is our last DL had NO concept of how long it took to get things done. I am convinced that most DL's wouldn't last a month in our stores!
Amen...try working for the Target Channel ones...complete and utter disasters
What they think is not as important as what you do.
In touch or out, you have a job to do.
The question is can you do it. If your answer is no, expectations are not realistic, then you are correct, you are in denial.
Catastrophe is coming.
