Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Changes

What irritates me the most is I have to go on this BLOG to find out what is happening. Is there a reason Management does not inform "ALL" associates of what is happening. If it had not been for the information on the site, I would not have known that a manager has to approve your call out even if tho you use Protected PTO. My issue with this process is why should I have to chase down my manager? The system should automatically approve the absence. I don't even know what "BLOCK" scheduling is. there has no information given to us at our club regarding this issue. My message to the HOME OFFICE....get real people, start communicating to everyone. It is not fair to keep people in the dark when it comes to their jobs. All this does is create stress. There are so many fellow associates who are stressed and depressed. Doug McMillion, get real and open up communication b/t management and associates. This is ridiculous. When I checked your salary sir, it was well over 22 million. Really?

I'm an ONAM and visit this site for news as well. They aren't telling us anything. We all hear the rumors and see some writing on the wall. However in the end, we're in the dark too. IMO your market team and above know the whole plan, and possibly your Change Champions. Assistant managers are frustrated too, we just want the band-aid ripped off. We all know change of some kind is coming, let's just get it over with...

You can always quit and still visit the blog would be less stress on you! Probably when they asked if you wanted to stay, you had to get home to check the blog. It’s ok we made it without you, blog is more important.

OP can’t figure out how to log on to OneWire\Me to find the answers to his questions, but is quite capable of finding out what Doug’s salary is REPORTED to be 🙄🙄🙄

OP it’s time to get off your former PTC’s T-I-T and take control of your own job! I’m sure you were one of the clueless people who didn’t know how to fix your own punch error, or had to be reminded that you have CBL’s that are late, because someone else always took care of you..... time to grow up junior!

You will know about Block Scheduling in your club when it is rolled out to your club as part of the company wide program. You work in retail OP, your hours may get BETTER when Block Scheduling rolls out, they may get worse. You want banker hours, learn how to add to 20 without taking your shoes and socks off and go get a job at the local bank. You will probably fail at that career also because you will blame someone else when they raise the price of money orders and you don’t get the one-on-one intense training about how to reconcile your drawer at the end of your shift. Keep trying OP you little toddler, at least you can still eat as many lollipops as you want at the teller window, until you abuse that privilege and they have to issue a company wide memo stating that the “Lolipops are for customers only, not employees....”

I think they know everything. They just aren't going to share the information with the associates.

The leadership here has lost their minds. The Company is sick , Sam’s in particular.

Wal Mart will not take Managers from Sam’s they do not think they are qualified to run the big boys..Super Centers that’s where the money is being spent. Sam’s is dead I say that as someone who loved the Co. I hope I’m very wrong but it seems like end days for Sam’s. Hope not , but it feels that way and everybody is miserable. That is a shame still many good people on board yet.

Shut up and make sure there is no dust on the f---ing T poles, make sure all clothing is sized right and stacked to the bottom of the sign, and that the store has been scoured for those demo cups. Doug will tell you exactly what you need to know and when you need to know it.
