I’m a cloud employee, and a lot of people from my group were let god. Have a feeling that I’m next on the chopping block, soI’m really wondering where to seek my fortunes, should that happen. Is it wise to stay in the business and apply at other companies that are in the cloud business. How do they look at former Oracle Cloud employees anyway?

And learn some effing English, so that you don’t say that you were let “god” when you have your next interview.
You should leverage any contacts (however remote they are connected to you) at other tech companies to get you in the door. All tech knows Oracle and how we treat employees, so it's not held against you when you get rif'd. I'd start with Google and AWS -they have hundreds of former Oracle people there. Go to linked in and get connected to everyone you can and ask what's open or coming up. You have a better chance getting in to a new company with an employee introducing you then going in cold.
