This is really a great post for me. Thanks so much..... I really wasn't completely sure of the fake demo, but I realized that there was no way you could have identified me from this post, unless you knew about the fake demo. So, that confirms it. Thanks again.

By the way, I keep track of all the responses I get out here, and their id tags. Got a lot of information and clarification that way. Thanks again.

To those out there, this kind of sh-- is really, really going on. Watch your backs and don't trust the management.

Yeah, get a grip, no oracle manager looks for “talent” that would just go against everything that oracle management from LE all the way down stands for and believes in. If somebody tells you they want your “talent” run away from them as fast and far as you can.

And don't buy into the idea that you are being picked up for your "talent". Scum like the management I worked for are out there looking for people they can "use" and lie about afterwards.

Sorry, but people need to be warned.

I was also witness to a demo by a woman who the manager in question mocked with "baby talk" and another demo by a man who was clearly not ready to demo anything. Someone who was new to working on the web that they were trying to embarrass.

It's a disgraceful way to behave.

Understand that the management you work for are NOT adults. They are 3-year-olds there to have fun at your expense. If anyone needs psychiatric help, it's the management that spend their time doing stupid things like this to people who are trying to do good work.

Oracle is not a company worth bothering to work for. Management like this deserves no respect. They should be fired, but unfortunately, good people leave instead, since the tide of corrupt management is so overwhelming.

Get out of Oracle if you can. There is no hope for any project managed by the type of managers I had to work for..... multiple of them all pulling the same tricks and destroying the company in a million different ways.

So you think your managers "pretended" to be sales people and faked their voices to fool you? All to fake you out to think people saw you? I think the psych ward is the right place for you to get some help. What paranoia - and your app is so special that groups of people went to all that trouble. Like the other dude said - you need to seek medical treatment. You have issues.

It was amazing to me how desperate these people were to set all of this up. Some part of it, I suppose, was "fun" for them, but to be that incompetent, that the only thing you can do is have someone else do ALL of your work for you, was totally mind-blowing to me.

It would be really easy for someone in the US to do this to a developer in India, or any remote person for that matter.

Seriously, you need medical attention.
