Feeling a little confused, reading about the cuts and people keep posting from various locations and at my nothing is happening. If I didn’t come to this site, I swear I would think nothing is going on. Can we assume the extent of these cuts? Is it like smaller portions of cuts at various locations or are we talking about a big wave?

IT is baring the brunt of the leadership's drive to outsource everything possible. I'm aware of layoffs within the supply chain and finance functions as well.
The layoffs in other functions, like IT, seamed to target the baby boomers as those individuals that I am aware of being let go had 2 or more decades of service.
I think 90% of posts on this site are IT because they’re all getting outsourced. Not to say business teams haven’t been impacted - just that I keep seeing TCS/HCL/Infosys which is apparently the Indian companies being given their jobs.
