This is purposely rumoured by Avaya for Avaya to gain unsolicited interest and to increase share rates. Reality is no one wanted to buy Avaya before and no one wants to buy Avaya now at hyped rates.
Yeh that is why no backfill or very less hiring. Existing people are made to work tirelessly. Smart people have moved on.
Avaya is a dead company. Mismanagement has destroyed many people over the years. I would hope that the current management consider its employees welfare before its shareholders. Take care everyone.
