Yup Workday the main call center is over 2000 miles from my club. I had to tell all my local colleges that because of changes within the company I can no longer participate at their job fairs. Oddly or maybe coincidentally the number of college students stopping by the club and checking on open positions has dropped to almost nil. My understanding with Workday is they are only going to work with active applicants in the Walmart careers website and will not be doing any other active offsite headhunting. Managers and Team Leads are still supposed to be able to actively recruit but will need to drive them to the Walmart Careers page.

Everything except orientation is being outsourced to a workday "third party". You send in the info of what position needs filled, hours and days expected to be available, and what experience you need and this workday group does everything. Team leads and managers will get to meet their new associates the day of orientation. supposed to start within the next few months.
