Have not taken a business trip in many years, but can remember the development trips where we all worked 12-14 hour days, and felt that a nice meal at least partially made up for all that casual overtime. Nowadays, you’re a fool to work that much casual overtime.

And McDonald's is cheap.
Is that really true? When did they stop paying for meals while on a business trip? What was the rationale given?
