Old article....also only applies to FRACTIONAL T1's. We're still putting in new T1's on a somewhat regular basis, granted nothing like the good old days, but still putting them in....there was an article on the intercompany site that TDM services won't be turned down until 2028, not the infamous 2020 plan.
As far as FT's, its my understanding that in the SW, cable repair gets the 1st dispatch for T1 repair. Talk has been of doing the same in the SE. Every once in a while it happens in the SE now, but the normal flow is still 1st dispatch to SSIM.
