It's possible they might be reducing management in IDC. The gossip I have heard is that the managers and architects will be mainly in the US. Worker bees mainly in India.
It's really a stupid arrangement. It's just because the management in the US is making the decisions and they are protecting their buddies in the US. They will keep their jobs as long as possible. Management in the IDC is competition, so it's possible it may be decimated like in the rumor here.

It won't happen. Oracle management is treated like royalty. Oracle is a huge country club ruled by royalty that cannot be touched in any way. Management rewards itself for destroying project after project..... well, that just couldn't be helped..... nothing the management could do about that..... pat each other on the back and go on like nothing happened.

Wait till early next week and you will get to see. Unless the terror vibe going all around some floor of OTH is all nonsense & fluff. Layers and layers of useless management. Wish it comes true, but I won't hold my breath. Managers don't like to lay each other off..... other managers have "friends".... and Oracle politics is all about revenge.
Maybe start st the top with the 2 pretend CEOs and the pretend CTO? Would provide the biggest savings and have the most positive effect on employee productivity. Followed by firing of all the useless EVPs and SVPs.
