Don’t trust PepsiCo IT CIO, her role is blood bath everyone in IT. Can’t trust this company anymore, let every thing screw up and pretend good and professional, doing nothing, wait the severance package coming and let everything screw up with nice story to support it as global CIO

For 90% of IT they just got their career paths flushed down the toilet because of the mass throw our problems over the fence to save money, masked as a digital transition.

Wise coming clean? Will people actually stick around to keep service running until laid off rather than leaving at first external opportunity?

Dust off the CV's people and leave them high and dry

Hearing open IT roles are now closed to employees not in hubs. Time for a Murphy's!

I'm surprised anyone is surprised. They have been talking about this since, 2010. Major layoff's have been happening since 2012. Like someone already said "survival of the fittest. " Those that can manage change, those that can survive, left a long time ago, and other companies are reaping the benefits. Have faith in yourself. Take time to acquire new skills, and look for greener pastures. You don't realize how bad it was until you left. Life is too precious to waste on stuff like this.

Whatever they take from you don't let them take your dignity or soul. I know of employees who did things they weren't proud of to advance their career. It got so bad they couldn't even look at themselves in the mirror. In the end they just got tossed aside like everyone else. Don't let that happen to you. Good luck, and God bless you.

I can only imagine how embarrassed you all must be right now. I am amazed how your CIO managed to fit you all under the same bus. To add insult to injury, most of you will be rebadged to the same company who will replace you so you get no severance. Zero, it’s Classic. Pepsi is making America great again. Hilarious!

Probably the most insensitive thing I’ve witnessed so far at PepsiCo. The head of Global IT broadcasting from India to talk about coming layoffs and rebadging of American IT professionals.

As they grin and jest about new jobs and growth coming to India.
