Great market for Oracle Engineers migrating off the products you used to support

Amazon Fulfillment just shut off their last Oracle DB. The rest of the world wants out of Oracle's hostage situation ASAP as well.

"Good thing Amazon doesn't have any high demanding workloads."

FWIW, their Amazon Prime streaming service is choppy. Not saying that it's the new DB's fault, but Amazon does have a track record of not being able to handle demanding workloads. Their Black Friday sales come to mind as well.

Like it or not Oracle database business will still be around for a long time. Oracle is still the best alternative for businesses with high demanding workloads or extreme processing and the new released capabilities are just making it stronger but i understand is not for everyone.

So I agree Engineers with oracle db background will be top ranked in the market.

Oracle's bread and butter database business is not immune to layoffs. Get out while you can.
