Do not worry too much. This layoff of people under OMC will go on till the next all hands i.e10th April . This is just round 1 of the cut. By that time , most of the people from OMC will be out. After few months round 2 will start and it will have similar timeline.
Basically all 3 rounds should be getting over by DEC-2019 . So even if you survive round 1 , no guarantee that you are safe. Better take the severance package and search out.

Did ppl who are gonna get affected tomo get any mail or hint before? And what abt the ones that got laid off this week? Were they informed before?

The numbers seems to be low in OMC as of Wed Noon time.
Few developers from OMC were asked to leave , the numbers is in single digit
