Full time vs Part time

Is part time going down to 4 hours a day? That’s what I heard. With all the new full time jobs being offered and third shift coming to days, there won’t be a need for part time. Can it be?

The job market in my area is very competitive so the hiring pool hasn't been great. The part timers we have in my club only want the 4 hrs shifts as it works with the other things in their life right now. They are working during the morning or night shift as there isn't many people who only want to work for 4 hrs in the middle of the day.

Hell, I'm scheduled less than that some days. I clock in at 5, and leave at 8:45. They can keep that sh--. not even worth the gas to get to my club, and back home.

All areas are different times on the block front end hours are 6 to 230 and 130 to 10 for the 8 hour blocks but for example when it calls for 10 of each shift at least and you only have 15 full timers the part timers fill in the rest of the 8 hours shifts when my club first started blocking about 3 months ago the 4 hour shift were 9 to 1 1 to 5 and 5 to 9 but we merged 2 shifts together just different job coded 4 hours on door then 4 hours on sco now they say we can schedule the 9 to 9 shifts any where from 4 to 7 hours Just between those hours
