Are all ASMs safe for now?
Wrong! Support staff will not be taking on any more store positions. They will simply be told there is no longer a position available for them. For the folks that were able to move into SM and ASM roles during the past 3 months, good for you. For several others, there will be no job and no severance package offered. For the ones that get to stay, good luck spinning this. And no, HR will not be around to help.
You old dept mgrs that escaped the first lay-off be careful because you won’t escape this one. They are just going to right fire you, they need the jobs for district and regional now. You have been used and you know it, unemployment line here you come, yes it’s the truth according to HR. HR is upset because they know they are going to be gone too.
Regyand district are extremely toxic to our company. We will all be so glad to see most of them gone. We don’t want them in the stores because they don’t work. It will be interesting to see the tug of war going on between them and the SM, none of them will have any power, what a bunch of losers.

Leadership is historically bad. From CEO to SVP, especially RVPs, and RMs. Company has infrastructure and base to be a power again but has to bring in new leadership. Still alot of good people but the toxicity of the RVPs is literally taking it all down.
No sympathy for district or regional, what goes around comes around! Your sleepless nights are just beginning. Heads up, when you looking for another job these companies know you are desperate, you pay is going to be LESS! S--- it up, go take that SM job away!!
