Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Rite aid and Fred's...

Reading some articles that both Rite Aid & Fred's pharmacies, are in danger of filing for bankruptcy THIS YEAR. (2019) What might that mean for cvs if both those companies were to completely fail? Might we suffer from some of the fallout of having 2 competitors go out of business?

If it’s dying why has my high volume pharmacy only had 4 deliveries since it rolled out in January. It’s not that customers don’t know about it - signs for it are everywhere. Almost as bad as sale signs.

The pharmacy as we know it is dying. Why not just get your pr-scrip-ions mailed to your home? Why go into a CVS for retail when Target and Walmart sell the same stuff for less? 10 years from now all CVS stores will be Minute Clinics, nothing else.

Would just mean more business for us. Probably scoop up some of the stores as well.
