Again, another wth flawed reasoning. Your minimum wage earners won't run the stores AND there are regions with minimums at $15+.

This company is cheap. Here in the northeast they run stores with the LOD, 1 at customer service and either one person or two on the floor. They can easily get rid of full-timers and save all that money on benefits and higher than minimum wage salaries

The asm positions make sense, this is an actual position, and they have already been converted to hourly.

A full-timer with experience is a benefit to the store level, and you can't simply layoff seasoned frontline employees randomly.

Even BBB realizes certain core positions need to remain.

Whatever the case, more management needs to go, still quite top heavy.

Asms is the only thing that makes sense! They are higher paid, disgruntled, have benefits and they are clogging the system.

Full timers are not on the chopping block despite the erroneous posting. Here's something to wet your appetite: you don't run stores with part-timers. You might as well close up shop and go home based on your logic.

I'm in the NE region. Just heard this morning that receiving department is going to be shifting to a Monday through Thursday delivery schedule in the next few weeks. My store was always Monday through Friday. No word as to why. Was told by my store manager who read it from an email from CIM.

Yes, an "event" of some sort at the end of the month.

I would not lose sleep if you're a dedicated associate, there are other areas that need to be addressed.

I wouldn't be surprised their prices are not competitive and the stores are overcrowded with merchandise that is unattractively displayed. It can't be that big a loss aren't retail jobs a dime a dozen and at or near mi imum wage, or are you corporate?
