Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

What will working to 9:30pm on Sunday be like?

peace and quiet for three and a half hours. Got to love it.

Family dinner at Sam's Club with our forever coworkers after the cafe is closed.

I’m coming from overnights to hopefully 3-11:30 pm , which will be probably be 12:00am .

I’m looking forward to the change. From 3- 8:30 10 ft rule applies and from 8:30 -11:30 stock heavy . What ever we don’t finish the 4am finishes.

I picked nights because the morning shift trying to leave at 12:30 lunch rush will be hard to do.

I can’t wait to see this play out.

Plus I have a partime at home job I can make full time if I need to

Our club has done this for months already. It’s really not much of a big deal. Go I at 4, break at 7, lunch between 9-11, go home at 12:30. The rest of the day is yours. Nights, in at 3, break at 5, lunch at 7, at 8:30, start running product out. Receiving will be a nightmare for a while but what else is new at that place.

Those hours getting to work without having to deal with members is a blessing, honestly. Once you’re open, it s---s trying to get anything done.
