Lowe’s is very quickly moving from “Good” to “Goodbye”. The ship is listing, and many experienced employees are jumping off. The tenured associates are treated as a liability, not an asset. The Turtle is steering this ship straight into a giant iceberg, full speed ahead.

They are like a lot of horribly run companies promise a ton deliver none. The great hope keeps people their but you'll never achieve anything unless you are willing to sacrifice yourself to the evil people up top. Lowes will force out the smart ones that see it and don't want to corrupt the ones that are still naive.
My store can’t find enough people. That doesn’t mean that the store manager and ASMs don’t expect everything to run at 100%. They just get angry and abusive when they don’t get what they want. The store is drowning in useless stock that just keeps coming. We spend our days getting berated for any of a hundred expectations that never get met. It’s either LTR, EPPs, Margin, etc, etc, etc... It never ends. The morale in the store is worse than I’ve ever seen. Even the upper managers are miserable. I’ve had enough.
“Is it me or is it getting crazier out there?”
In my store yesterday (friday), 3 great employees said their goodbyes.. tenured, competent, mild mannered. You know, the GOOD ones.
ALL the good ones are gone, or going. Very few left. Many took "brainless" jobs purposefully. Such as demotions from CSA or specialist to CASHIER!! Just to avoid the managerial nonsensical dictates .
I will be adios soon too. They dont appreciate hard work, intelligence, or reason. So they do not deserve anyone with these attributes,
Found where Marvin used to moonlight.

I jumped ship back in October. I felt a great sense of relief, freedom, walking out the door.
It was awful then. With the way it is going downhill since then, I cannot imagine how anyone other than upper management can stand working there.
