I'm ready to leave NetApp, I already have a few job interviews lined up, but I'm still very nervous and hesitant to make that final decision to leave even if I get one of the jobs.
I'm wondering, has anybody who left on their own - not taking about layoffs or being fired - regret it afterwards?
Same here. Left by choice 2 years ago. The $ was good and there was no threat to my job, but my health and sanity were suffering. I can’t work somewhere when logic doesn’t apply. All the good people were gone. Much happier now. I’m very grateful for the good times at NetApp, but unfortunately those days are long gone. The job market is great right now. Take the leap. You won’t regret it.
NetApp employment is a joke. I don’t know how we keep in business laying off staff consistently. I’ve been double dipping for two years. Have multiple irons in the fire. That’s the only way to truly not give a sh-- in general.
I didn't regret it. I'm not really a big company type anyway.
I left by choice. I was in a good position with no threat of being let go. My issue was that they were laying off too many strong people that I had worked with for years and keeping people that were politically connected but didn't deliver. I know that is party of the corporate game but after 10 years I decided to leave to make a change. Best thing I could have done. I love my job now and it has invigorated my career in New directions.
