No need to worry, I recall people posting last year about the private equity buyer saving us all. That’s good to know, I do enjoy reading the very informative updates on this forum. When I need answers, it's reassuring to visit this site for the truth.

If you want to know anything you have to find it on your own. There is zero communication now. We also don’t get freight for days then get slammed well above the max we can take.

Someone competent needs to take over running this company. People still respect BBB. Make a change before we are a joke.

ST needs to go as well as those bs positions in corporate like project manager. Project manager of what. Give back to the stores where the public gets the benefit not the greedy ceo and board.

There is definitely very little communication from higher levels now. Perhaps they feel as if attempting to implement any changes will be next to impossible considering staffing levels. Just fielding all of the complaints regarding return policy and long register wait times and nobody on the floor to help is work enough.

May seems a little too soon for another round of layoffs. Things are pretty bad though. There seems to be very little communication from what's left of the 'district ' people, or whatever their titles are now. It seems with all this uncertainty regarding the investors intent to vote out and replace the current board that all of the higher ups are waiting to see what happens before implementing anything worthwhile. I saw on mysource about a month ago instructions on how to close deliveries through the scanners, but there has been no communication as to when it will be implemented. Also, my district is switching to a new pool carrier next month. the current pool carrier is not pleased about losing the contract so they are intentionally messing up the loading of the trailers and the de!ivery times. Such us the life at Bed Bath and Beyond

Here we go again. Just tossing out a random date with no other info. Ridiculous. If you know enough to put out a date then you'd be in the loop to know more details. So...prove you're not just spewing nonsense, again.

Ha ha nothing will happen to ST. Quit dreaming. He is so protected for some reason unknown to all.

ST needs to go. That will save the company a ton of money and only effect one family not hundreds.

This is speculation, but as a company how long can you last in this environment? Stores slowing, return policy changed, Asm lawsuit being paid out, raising prices, closing stores, negotiating leases, cutting benefits, 401k match end of year, supervisor postions created, stock dying, activist movement, retail dying, online emerging etc. Is this a healthy company? I believe next step is mass layoff of remaining ASMs, then DM realignment with more layoffs of DMs, then mass store closures, and finally banks not lending will be the nail in the coffin. If anyone can tell me why this company will prevail then please share as I am not so convinced.

May 20 end of lawsuit deadline, Sales dying, sounds like a likely date for another layoff.
