Big meeting next week. Anyone know what’s going on?

You're a real s---er if you're working tomorrow. I dont mean call out or anything , I'll be out in the field tomorrow doing a whole lot of nothing.
I know one thing for sure, buy nestle stock. It will go up on teusday, then sell.
Medical leave for stress if nothing happens Tuesday. I’ve lost so much sleep over this
No matter what happens, I hope we all still have our jobs and pay. Maybe a little restructuring is what we need to get things done right. JUST DON'T TOUCH MY PENSION!!!
This stress has been so hard I have had chest pains all day and yet they expect us to still bust our a-- without knowing what is going on. Pure safety concerns right there. This is complete BS
(Half a) Monday is just a few hours away. (F* you I'm taking today off) Wednesday is just around the corner.
I wonder if it has to do with the dsl always being late with paper work and just having us sign papers to cover his tracks. Also treating certain people to a high standard then others. He treats a few employees like there is own family and the rest of the depot like dirt. I've been a driver for well over 14 years and a perosn here with 5 years gets paid more then me. Can't seem to figure out this company anymore. My wife called it and has been saying a storm is coming and we are a all screwed. A famous quote from our depot. It is what it is all you can do is try.
Could this be a scare the hell. Let's all sell more tactic
I got laid off in 2012 when they gave the small format stuff to distributors, was called back in 2016 when one of the distributors decided to give all the small format back to Nestle. I went through this stress in 2012 and I’m going through it again now. Like most of you I'm married with kids, house payment, car payments etc.. I learned back then not to trust this company. If I get laid off again I’ll never come back.
Ok here is my story.
I came from 9 years working for another company and was hired on the spot! When I started I was amazed at how bare bones and hectic it was. It was basically throw sh-- where you can fit it, fill the back room with stock and leave it. My ADD can’t function doing that so if you do it right, you’ll work 14 hours. Trucks constantly would break down so other people would take your truck and you have to find a rental because the spare wouldn’t run. Once I was without a truck for a whole week. Every time a reroute took place, it made things worse. I was complaining so much that they sent DSL’s from other states to evaluate me, because I threatened to sue because they changed the reroute picking day without written amendment (which is the law) and they all saw the same thing, I was doing everything above standards. I hate this company from day one ‘till Tuesday. There are good people, but not many. I hate upper management. I got along great with my stores, but I will be so relieved when it’s all over.

Now here is what I think will happen we aren’t running routes Tuesday because they are cleaning out the facilities, taking out equipment, taking the name off the door and changing locks, and removing the trucks. We’ll try to use teletime and it will be disconnected.
Just to add fuel to the fire DA’s got a raise
You know no matter if we have jobs on Tuesday or not, the comments in this post are still issues we deal with daily. It just all comes out when our jobs are on the chopping block. I hope some upper management is reading them all and taking notes. But I’m my opinion, when large companies are considering selling, things are on the internet. People have to bid. So I honestly don’t think it’s been sold. Warehouse is more likely. But hey, if we all have jobs, it’s more of a reason for people to actually do their jobs and get those displays and push the product like never before. We improve across the board and so will sales.
From that article:
"But challenges still remain. While "revived growth" in Nestlé's two-largest markets of the US and China was partly credited as being behind the improvement in the latest annual results, along with gains in infant nutrition, the frozen foods business (Lean Cuisine, Hotpocket) remains in the doldrums, suggesting another category target that might come up for disposal."
And:
"He acknowledged the frozen food business is not performing at its best - "it did not have a good year", Schneider said, although the company is "working intensely to address it", with the pizza category at least "doing better". Nestlé is endeavouring to improve its range of frozen food products, he added.
MainFirst's Oberhuber added: "US frozen meals was weaker than expected, and this was self-inflicted as the pipeline was not strong enough. However, the CEO is very bullish on this case."
"Save the merchandisers we do all the work for small pay" lol gtfo
I think it's crazy for everyone too go crazy and insult nestle and complain without knowing anything.

Now karma for them making us wait and panic would be half the work force finding other jobs and it end up being nothing on Tuesday. Lose half the employees for the BS they put us thru 😂
I so Sorry you and your family have to go through this.,I Pray for all ..
Single parent raising a child...dont know what to do
Anyone else got the lube ready for Tuesday?
Who else has already applied for a new job?
So frustrated. Worries my husband is losing his job. Spent the majority of the weekend looking at this feed stressed out. Hoping it is nothing horrible, but frustrated they are forcing us to worry for 4 days. 🤬🤬🤬
Exactly about having all these DSLs travel out of town to give them bad news...doesn't make sense...
I AGREE MANAGEMENT HORRIBLE !!!
There were no checks and balances
I never saw my boss mostly just in meetings he never answered his phone and took off all the time on PTO
If Nestle worried about this company like they worry about all this safety B.S and the risk predictions and FHF B.S!
we may still have jobs
I blame the management for never being available. If they were out in the market like other companies I have worked for was I don’t think we’d be looking down the barrel of unemployment right now. They are too busy forwarding emails and ducking phone calls from the house, deviating their jobs into the route relief to deal with and let’s talke about the warehouse... it is a total S—t show daily. This is the most disorganized mismanaged company I have ever worked for. It’s a wonder this hasn’t happened sooner.
Been a merch for 10 years. My average load size on the weekends are close to 90 cases at 5 stops. With another 7 repack following after a saleslady who can't do certain things due to age. I have never once called her out on anything but if I miss a case of something I get a phone call from the boss.
Wouldn’t it be funny if it was just a surprise sales rally? Lol. Highly unlikely, but this company does some dumb sh-- so....
Bahaha. The merchs here s---. But then I covered for one and found out why. One guy had 10 packouts to do, not all in the same area and a few were over 100 case orders. The assigned merch c-ap is dumb. Need to go back to assigning our own merch since we know who works and who doesn’t and so they don’t get left with so many stores.
Relax everyone
Is there a small glimmer of hope this could be something good? I am very realistic and assume the worst, but also wonder why they would want to have a lot of people travel in and tell them in person horrible news. You would think they would be concerned about the negative response. 🤷♀️
Everyone be sure to bring their risk prediction to the meeting Tuesday. The topic is how you can get injured at work when you have been stressed out for 4 straight days.
You said it Old
Can they just fire the old pizza guys cause they are the reason this is happening thanks. Also the drivers can lose there jobs just save the merchandisers we do all the work anyways for small pay.
Peace be still and wait
The wait and uncertainty really S---S. 🤬
There are meetings in St. Louis, Detroit, and Cincinnati
If we get bought, no more Risk Predictions.
If we go warehouse, no more Risk Predictions.
Been here over 20 years and can’t imagine life without these brands and the people who have sacrificed so much to achieve what we’ve asked them to.
Finger-pointing and name-calling isn’t advancing anyone’s cause, but it’s understandable given the circumstances.
We will all find out together Tuesday.
Best wishes to all.
