Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

From a customer's point of view

I’m a builder, Lowe’s Has changed so much over the last 15 years that every aspect of dealing with them has become so unreliable. They are more worried about a grey piece of tape then answering the phone. It’s a joke, there are a few associates who care but I really don’t blame them for all the uncertainty at the place. The push down seems to be like an angry librarian who doesn’t want anyone to rent the books so it looks good. The market is changing where most consumers want everything turn key and Lowe’s has became so far from that. They only things I can guarantee with them is If I buy a lumber package that it won’t be delivered on time, material will be wrong, and then when I call nobody will answer. What a joke.

“Builder”. You probably build three houses a year and want to come into the store and expect everyone to kiss your a-- for little to no profit. Because you don’t plan ahead, you will call the store and expect a delivery the next morning, first out. Oooh look at me I’m a “builder”. SMH

TRUTH!~!!

And while they have your cash in the drawer, they KNOW you wont get the delivery. The 3rd party XPO is absolute garbage. Our Pro guys even have to pull their own orders. But even so, the bunks are wrapped and nice but never go anyway. Customers are NOT being serviced at all.

When we tell management, they are lost, and cannot do a damn thing so why even have them in stores?

Lowes is the absolute worst customer service store now I have ever witnessed. Daily customers are yelling and no one does a fkkn thing. Its business as usual.
