Integrity!

So 2.0 is an joke, nothing has changed and the ra ra motivational speeches coming from DM's and above are sickening.

Also now we are getting the "integrity" conversations ... Here's an idea, you want reps to sell with integrity? Then eliminate quotas!!

You id--ts at the top that come up with 85% TMP are dillusional, first off no rep can be at 85% without slamming accounts and if you are a DM and you have reps that are over 85% and think that there is a golden ticket than you need to go have your head examined.

For God sake , 2.0 , elimintate the dam quotas and stop asking me every 2 hours what my TMP or Ard numbers are, me having to talk to you every 2 hours is not motivating me.

2.0 and integrity is a joke! Coming from a 16 year employee I can tell you that Verizon stores are corrupt with shady sales and yes customers are finally starting to wake up to this! Why do you think our stores no longer have customers coming in like we used to....they don’t want to be taken advantage of! I worked for Verizon when selling WITHOUT integrity was a fireable offense!! We always had a minimum of 12 or more in our que at any given time in any given day. Now I feel like I work so hard to save our customers and it’s disgusting that Verizon acts like they do not know this is happening in our stores. I am so sick of taking trainings that promote selling with integrity and doing “the right thing” when in reality it’s beyond obvious that this is exactly what is NOT happening! There are plenty of surveys and complaints from customers that validate what I am saying! Now, it’s all about who’s the best at manipulating accounts, slamming new lines, HUM, jet packs, tablets, pull through as a whole! 85% TMP is not attainable....we all know it...but hey, these are the reps that are promoted and made into management and train employees to do the same shady sales tactics and the cycle repeats itself! Also, having to have a coaching after or during every sale about tmp or accessories is not motivating! Come on Verizon...open your eyes if you want to get back to being number one let’s start acting like it!!!!

The Anonymous A-- Kisser, that posted several reps in their store are above 80% in TMP and $120 in ARD. What the ignorant A-- Kisser failed to post is that it’s the only store in area. The next store is about 30 mins away god forbid it’s a 3rd party store. We all know you ain’t pulling numbers like that unless you are slamming 63 accounts let me clarify fraudulent accounts.

Our management team tells us just to add tmp and tell the customer they have 30 days to take it off and hope the customer forgets about it.

All the people that were well over 80 percent in our store are now down in the low 70 high 60 range, funny how it happened right after we were told customers were getting notifications when it was added

So all jobs with quotas lack integrity? Ignorance is rampant on this site. We have several reps over 80% TMP and $120 ARD with absolutely 0 slamming in our store. Maybe you should improve your sales skills instead of trying to knock everyone else down.

Direct retail channel will be gone in a few years. A direct result of our techniques of our unscrupulous sales methods. Like manipulating plan changes or promos to slam HUM’s, TMP, new lines, etc etc. What’s sad is that these sales techniques are approved right from the top. This company has no integrity and customers are finally waking up to it.

They fired 30+ people for slamming TMP. Whole stores were let go in Austin Tx over it. They let go of GM's for telling reps to slam TMP on old customers. The reps that slammed it were let go as well.

TLDR

DONT SLAM TMP YOU WILL GET FIRED

Ohio? Yup. Especially Mt Vernon, Mansfield and Wooster. I've personally been the recipient of being slammed in each of those stores as a former employee doing mystery shops as well as being a customer. I had heard a couple years back they were allegedly investigated for slamming HUM...but the then as I understand some of the culprits now work in the business channel. Executives better not be surprised of those stores try to organize. One huge cluster out there. Always hiring and needing help. Why? Its central Ohio with a good potential salary right? You do the math.

What do you mean nothing has changed? From 6 markets to 3. Over ten thousand took the VSP and another ten thousand RIF'd or fired.

Nobody cares about integrity at Verizon. Even the top executives. They care about cutting money and saving themselves. But don't have a chinese food menu in your breakroom because the union will come in....and don't give a hardworking friend a letter of recommendation because its against company policy...oh and make sure you recite the credo...

ok so you are hitting your numbers and you can honestly say that all your sales are legitimate? You can honestly say you aren't slamming accounts to:

a.exceed numbers to make yourself look like a superstar

b. making far more than anyone else in your store.

Actually don't answer that ,I can answer for you, yes your slamming accounts and not disclosing, how do I know cause you wouldn't be against what the OP wrote...you are that big shot that can twist words, re-rate a plan and put a hum in a customers bag without disclosing what it is they are getting. Your the rep that will slam over $200 in accessories, tell them it's free, bill to account and than not disclose it...your also the same rep that when that customer comes back you can't be bothered cause it's not a sale, you won't own up to shady and let another rep clean up your mess

It's shady reps like you that the quotas are so high, maybe if you didn't slam TMP on open enrollment last year this post wouldn't exist

Part of the higher quotas accomplished two things

Weed out those who can't take it

Test out the limits to see what attainable

2.0 is just another cute marketing term. Same leaders, same players, but yes .. 2.0 because they said so. Ha

I agree, 85 percent target for TMP is unrealistic. They announce selling with integrity and set high standards that are not consistently attainable.

I could not disagree more. If you’re content with working for a set amount of salary, then more power to you. But we are in sales, we should absolutely work for quotas and commission. Stop complaining
