I certainly don’t think that we’re done with reorgs, but what I’m wondering Is anything planned ahead, maybe one more round of reorgs just before the commercial rollout of 5G. What are the chances of that happening and what shape could these potentials reorgs have?

You mean Verizon's Indian contractors don't have arms long enough to reach the United States?
@1vbj: the fiber to the poles will probably be a fiber drop and then all the installers can do that work .

It is over Johnny.
It is probably only another 10 or more years of OT work for the majority of you field techs. You will only be able to make a few more years of the big money then you will be forced to retire with an EISP or some other incentive. It is evident that your lucrative lifetime long run is coming to an end. It is a good thing you are far enough along that you have nothing to worry about financially otherwise you would be screwed.
Nope. No more reorgs at Verizon. Ever.
So soon field tech jobs in Verizon will be abesolete, is this correct, and if so what timeframes.
All local contractors and some utilities company’s are installing 5 G antennas. VZW Employees will only be calling out contractors to fix and install these antennas
VZ might get some 5G crumbs , but that’s about it . And there will always be some king of reorg going on .
Who is doing the 5 g work, wht company is putting up these mini cells for verizon, cause it's not being done by Verizon employee s
