I was not laid off but the fear led look for jobs. I attended 2 interviews and cleared both with absolutely no preparation. All this within 2 weeks of me deciding to quit. The first one offered me 50percent hike and the second offered 150 percent hike ( more than twice my sal) here. I have joined the second one. So the market is good and if you are laid off or want to leave, stay positive. You could easily get a good job.
