What an awesome but consolidated rushed event ! After a half day of travel we were promptly checked in to beautiful Marriot World Center Resort. There was an area set up with light refreshments and vendors. The refreshments lacked anything of substance and could have had some sandwiches etc. It was about 5pm when the kickoff party started. The unlimited alcohol was flowing along with club music featuring a live DJ. Plenty of hors devours throughout the makeshift club as well as vendors. This lasted about two hours before everyone was carted off by what seemed like dozens of buses to Universal Studios. Upon arrival we were escorted to a section of Universal City Walk that was closed off for the Verizon event. Many bars and clubs with alcohol freely flowing and Mexican themed food lined the street. Also live DJs throughout as well as a cool karaoke club. A couple of interesting observations. Many Verizon employees are alcoholics and rude. I noticed one girl brought her laptop to Universal and was instant messaging the whole time. Some of the outfits were appalling to say the least. Anyway after what seemed like a longer then nesscesary time we were then escorted to a part of Universal where we had exclusive access to 5 rides. There was also light refreshments and desserts in that section as well as more alcohol. Overall it was a short but sweet trip but would have rathered it had been some where closer.

What a bunch of cry-babies! Come back later when you get Rif'd and we will see what you have to cry about the! Remember, a LOT of hard working folks lost their jobs so the company can waste money on s**t like this. Absolutely disgusting...
Interesting how the top slammers usually end up going to such wasted events and then potentially end up being promoted to customer for their bad behavior while attending.
Who cares .. only slammers go to these things
Cut thousands of jobs and still they waste money like this. Sales people get base salaries and commissions and its still not enough.
I agree it was cool to get away from the cold weather but they should paid for us to go down there for longer then a day. Also the food s---ed and no one cared to dress up for the event.
