Anyone know if the competitive shopper position was discussed at the ybm???

It will be delegated out to others to do, just like they are doing without you right now. When you flop down all the signs for one department and say "I don't have to do Tires or Fresh", you don't deserve your position. Go stack your break and lunch together, like you always do, and enjoy your 45 minutes of lazy bliss. Bitter much? Only because very important positions have been eliminated and yet you still find a way to do the very least every single minute you're clocked in. I know great team-player comp associates. Yet, the ones that are toxic remain.
In you opinion it’s pointless!!! Regardless of the title, all clubs need consistency with daily price changes, scanning the building, walking for missing signs, comp shopping, own your inventory and etc. you can not give these jobs to different associates every day and make sure this is getting done 100%. If your club has/had a comp shopper and they were not doing their job, that’s managements fault. Don’t fault someone else’s job unless you do it everyday! I certainly work hard and keep busy 8 hours a day, everyday!
My club didn't have a person. At one point marketing did it or a manager but now no one. It's one of those positions that's not been eliminated but the GM decides what they hire for and if is PT or FT. Overall in the digital age it's pointless.

Yes. They worried about this position at YBM. Most clubs got rid of this spot. Pointless job
