Can you imagine what it will be like in another couple of years?

I hate the thought of how I feel on Monday mornings knowing I have to be there for 5 consecutive days. Damn.....I hate going to work these days.

If we were busy, it would not be nearly so bad; but, we have to sc-ap and scratch around every day to find work. None of us have that much work; but, our Managers ride us constantly as if we are covered up. It's just not so. We are surveilled constantly via every cou device we use or vehicle we drive. If you have idle time, it is just a matter of time until you are up on the big screen for doing something wrong blah, blah, blah. Another day, another letter. You don't even want to think about getting sick.

The whole deal is really going downhill fast. Can you imagine what it will be like in another couple of years?

I imagine that a lot more AT&T employees feel the same way as @Y6WwskL-2jdm

Geesh - What part of the company are you in? I’ve had to inherit the responsibilities of six other departments (as the last man standing) and continue to have to lay-off folks - even though everyone’s work load and span of responsibilities has quadrupled.

We experience Sunday evening angst and restless nights as well - but for an entirely different reason.

Good Grief! You have a good paying job, be thankful. There are a lot worse places to work than ATT.

Grow up.

If the pay checks don’t bounce and you’re living good just go with the flow. Who wants to look for another job at this age anyway. Lifes a b--ch.

BS on Trump...T has been laying off since 1980 at least. Reagan, Bush I and II, Clinton, Obama, etc.

We begin our work day on your US daylight savings time, and we have several shifts to accommodate the work across your country. So, at 0700 our first shift is waking up just before noon after a delightful night enjoying a late dinner, dancing, and a few beverages. We can do this because 1700 on the US eastern time is 2200 our time. It is such a joy to sleep in later in the morning.

Thanks to you, our economy is booming. You should see the most beautiful AT&T campus in the world, right here and not too far from a most desirable cultural, environmentally friendly, and historical travel destination. And we are happy! Watch and see!

I agree. On Sunday nights my stomach is in a knot knowing there are five long boring days ahead of me in an office I have no reason to be in. We're all trying to fly under the radar for as long as we can, just waiting for the ball to drop on our heads. No enthusiasm, no motivation, a horrible way to work. Hate every minute I'm there.

It’s going to be smooth sailing for those who make the cut. The company is trying to figure out optimal headcount. If they cut too deep they’ll hire/re-hire. This isn’t AT&T’s first rodeo trying to determine an optimal labor force.
