I have a feeling there’s more to come within 2019, maybe not in such an organized manner and not in those numbers , but I definitely have a feeling that they didn’t achieve the numbers of workers they find redundant. If that new wave should com, when do you think they could be organizing it?

3hcq - I agree where are these rumors coming from? Just about every group I know of is now severely under staffed , with the exception of some that haven't even been touched. I do know for an absolute fact things aren't running efficient. I was told my old group needs me back but now a f---ing hiring freeze is in effect! Rediculous. I just want to go back to work now 😔
Where are the rumors coming from? From this website or actually hear from HR or upper mgmt that there's more to come?
Everyone being told to find a way to reduce cost or “some of us will be missing by the end of the year.”
Rumors say late August or early September.
Look for more layoffs around quarterly earnings time... either before if they can't make that quarter's numbers or just after if they just barely make that quarter's numbers...

So here's what I know , young people I know that are woman in HR and other areas have just lost their job. I know this because some are recruiters and have reached out to me in response to my resume and have said they no longer work at GM
