Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Chapter 4?

Chapter 3 isn’t over yet.

DL is still on the job and trying to play nice.....“NOW”.

It’s way past that for the PMs and SMs in the district. All those who know have zero confidence in him. Kinda pathetic of him to put on the Mr. Nice Guy face when we all know that he would fire any one of us for less than he has done!

For all those who know someone who has been fired for sharing credentials be sure they are aware of this so that if it is not resolved consistent with past previous situations. I will be sure to keep all posted.

OMG can this please be the last of your posts? Nobody cares about this. Call advice and counsel and be done with it then sit down and shut up

This is getting stupid!

I'm really upset with cvs on several issues (I'm a store manager ) so I'm on your side . I just think you need to put this kind of time and effort

In doing the job your paid to to .

I know many more DL unethical instances all worse than this - but not gonna talk about here-

He knows you're writing this and he's just going to manage you out after all the dust settles and nothing happens to him.

If the company stays with the same mindset the trajectory of the company and the stock will only continue is one direction. Make all the excuses for the stock crashing that you want. It all comes down to poor leadership even poorer decisions. No matter how bright these pharmacy leaders are they have never truly built teams. That’s why most of them can’t get the teams to perform.

1) Remember the advice about "Advice and Counsel",

2) Remember that most, if not all of the DL's are Pharmacists - that is the direction the Company is going with, or, without you.

Except everyone know that District Leaders are NOT held to the same standards as store personnel. DL’s at cvs can pretty much do anything they want and not get fired. If there’s ever a dispute between the store and a DL, you better believe corporate will side with the DIstrict Leader! And the same goes the higher up the chain of command you go. Corporate is ALWAYS right and the store is always wrong!

That’s what advice and counsel is for. To make sure consequences are in line across the enterprise. Anyone (field or store)making a move above level II is doing so without company support. That can get real ugly for you. Use the tools given and cover your ass

Definitely sounds like someone from field leadership just chimed in.

That says it all!!!!

I think DL and above should not be held accountable for such things! They should be able to hold your future in their hands and fire you at will , otherwise there is no control. They are more valuable than the regular joe! DL should never be held to the same moral standards as regular employees! I just thing they should be treated differently, after all the DL would never fire a pet! Just not normal.

Tell that to all the people that have lost their jobs for the same thing.....

It’s alway a misunderstanding when you get caught.

Kinda like saying sorry when you get caught cheating on your spouse....

YOU NEVER GET CAUGHT THE FIRST TIME!

I’m sure this person has been responsible for terminating plenty of people...and I’m sure in his own mind he felt they did it to themselves.

Well... he did it to himself..... Should be a great learning experience for him.

If he would have respected his team and treated them fairly across the board this would have never have gone as far as it has.

The person/person that pursued this probably would have pulled him aside and let him know the severity of the situation.

Current and future leaders your team can be your life raft or the torpedo that sinks your ship!

He has been nice to me, if he made a mistake let the process work itself out. No one should ever lose there job if it was a misunderstanding!
