Thread regarding CVS layoffs

AVP visit

AVP visit next week and DL told me to have extra people on. I told him it’s just me and a cashier the day of the visit just like any other day...he didn’t seem too happy.

Why should we have extra people on just because there is a corporate visit and FAKE being staffed properly?!

..or you can work day and night getting ready for the visit.... to which the dialogue will be " we have systems in place, if the stores would work the system there would be no issues"

I agree with you, but one way or the other, it will be your fault. They’ll go to mySchedule and accuse you of not using it properly. Remember, in their eyes their systems and tools are perfect. We are the reason they fail (eye roll).

As long as Rx is running semi smoothly thats all that matters. Nobody cares about the lemonade stand up front.

You should only schedule yourself and hand in your keys to the AVP & DL mid visit and tell them to have fun running the store with just 2 people. Haha. And don’t forget to let them know cosmetic reset isn’t done yet.

I have said this before and will say it again... It's all about putting on a good show for the boss! That's all period. That AVP doesn't want to hear about any problems just wants to know that all is well even if it's not. And your DL is simply covering his rear end by having you put more people on, because if you didn't put more people on the DL would look bad. And oh no we can't have that! How would your DL possibly explain to a Vice President why there's only two people on? I say it again, it's all about putting on a good show for the boss.
