I heard that they’re not going to offer any eisp’s because people are leaving without one. I’ve got my 30 years but am too far from social security to leave (early 50’s) so it looks like I’m going to be here for at least 4 more years.

@2yq1 , obviously you don’t know what an EISP is . The union workers will not be part of a RIF . They get offers to leave the payroll or just retire at this point
It’s not happening. Wishful thinking. Don’t entertain the thought. RIFs will be the way the company will go from now on. Please come to terms with reality - the VSP has come and gone, and another will likely not happen during your lifetime.

So give up 4 years pay for an offer of approximately a year plus a few months salary . That offer might be good 2 years from now , but not today .

We are hearing it’s a good one . They wanna clean house , 6 and 6 , $3300 per . Kinda like the one they gave back in the 90’s. See ya !

There are more rumors than I can count. Nothing of substance that I heard, just hear say.
All kinda rumors out there....what specifics did you hear? With all of these rumors, I’d say one is in the works.
